School Guard Glass™ Products
School Guard Glass™ primarily offers its SG4™ and SG5™ glazing products. Essentially School Guard Glass™ is a laminated glass composite with glass surfaces, and a patented security core. Both SG4 and SG5 can used standalone or can be ordered as energy efficient insulated glass thermopanes in a wide variety of make-ups that may include tints, low emissivity coatings, or argon gas filled insulated glass units.
The product can be installed in doors (wood, hollow metal and aluminum), windows, store fronts, and curtain wall assemblies. SGG™ products can be made to fit any required thickness for doors that are built to receive ¼” glass up to 1 ¼” glass.

Laminated Security Glass

School Guard Glass™ can be manufactured or modified for almost endless combinations of thicknesses, desired visibility, tinted glass, thermally broken Insulated Glass Units, Low-e Coatings, Gas Fills, Graphics or signage in-between-the-glass, Electronic Privacy Glass (Smart Glass) and more! Unit Configuration
Our SG4™ and SG5™ products are both offered as stand-alone laminates or as panes in double or triple glazed insulated glass units for maximum energy efficiency. We can also combine them with even more security layers for custom engineered protection.
- Laminated glass pane only to fit a store-front frame glazing pockets for 3/8" glass or similar.
- Dual-glazed Laminated Insulated Glass (LIG) with one air-gap. Various spacer types and overall IGU thicknesses with optional Argon gas-fill.
- Triple-glazed Laminated Insulated Glass (LIG) with two air-gaps. Various spacer types and overall IGU thicknesses with optional Argon gas-fill.
- Custom engineered unit make-ups with combined options, security or technology.
